When I click on a room link, nothing happens.
Disable your pop-up blocker.
This site needs to create a pop-up window which installs and runs the software to connect you to the selected game.
When I click on a room link, a small window pops up and nothing happens after that.
The web component did not install properly.
Download and run the Case's Ladder Online Web Component Installer
to install the web component. This component runs inside of the small pop-up window, updating the
software and launching the game for you.
Make sure that you are using internet explorer, version 5 or higher. Other browsers may not work.
Make sure that activeX controls are enabled, and scripting of activeX controls is enabled in your Internet settings. The web component installer can change
these settings for you.
The game window is larger than my screen:
The game window is 540 pixels tall and cannot display completely if the screen is only 480 pixels high.
Switch to a display mode that uses more than 640 X 480 pixels.
Click on the "display" icon in the windows control panel, and then go to the "settings" tab.
Set your display to a minimum resolution of 800 x 600.
The window fits on my screen, but parts of the window are missing, or seem misplaced:
This problem is caused by using large fonts. Turn off large fonts.
Follow these instructions:
The colors on the game screen appear strangely.
The game is really slow.
This is probably because your display setting are set to less than the maximium number of colors. Because our default graphics are designed for full color mode,
the graphics may look funny, or slow the computer down as the colors are re-mapped to a pallette with less colors.

icon in the control panel.
Or, Instead of changing your display settings, switch your graphics theme from "default" to "256". Graphics themes may be changed from the options
program. Click on "options" in the game, and then go to the theme tab.
How do I change the color of the chat?
From the menu in the chat room, select "Chat" then "Chat options". From the options
window, you can permanenlty change the background color as well as the text colors.
How do I report a bug?
Report bugs as soon as they happen:
From the game, you may report a bug by clicking on the "report a bug" link located on the top left of the game window.
From the chat room, you may report a bug by selecting "help" and then "report a bug".
Sending a bug report way will automatically send information that will help us to fix the bug. Please provide a
brief description of what occurred.

What firewall ports should I open?
I am using Windows XP and I can not get into CLO.

Try turning off the firewall that is built into Windows XP:
- Click on the "Start" button, choose "All Programs", then choose "Connect To" and then "Show all connections".
- Right-click on the icon for your Internet connection and choose "Properties" from the pop-up window.
- In the window that appears, click on the "Advanced" tab and uncheck "Protect my computer and network..."
- Click the "OK" button. You have now turned off the firewall.
- If you are using a "pop-up stopper", turn that off as well.
- If you are using Norton, check your configuration in each category and temporarily disable functions that could impede you from entering the game.
- Another thing to check is "view" on your Explorer tab. Click "view", then "Privacy report". Make sure that the cookies for the site you wish to enter are not "blocked" or "restricted".
